As for Carlos Caballero, in his drawings he composes meetings between different spheres and territories. The dialogue they establish implicitly incarnates, whether on the basis of contradiction or the redundancy of motifs, the symbolism of movement, change and recognition. In addition to a perfected technique, his drawings also contain their particular figuration, as is the case for his painting. The point of departure for the dialogues he proposes in his works is introspection as experiences transmitted against the backdrop of silence. Subsequently, the manner of harmonising the elements provides us with ample freedom of interpretation, causing us to question difference, rootlessness and belonging.
